Product Description
Product Introduction
2230 is a two-component, phenolic‑amine‑cured, pure epoxy thick‑film coating that, upon curing, forms a coating with excellent mechanical strength and outstanding resistance to abrasion and seawater.
Application areas
This product can be used as a primer or intermediate coat in atmospheric or submerged environments, such as cargo holds, decks, and ship hulls—including underwater sections—where low-VOC, fast-drying performance is required. It can be applied at temperatures as low as –10°C and dries rapidly, making it particularly well suited for applications that demand quick recoating and handling.

Paint film thickness
Non‑recommended film thicknesses may be used depending on the application and substrate; this will affect the coverage rate as well as drying time and recoat intervals. The typical dry film thickness per coat is 75–200 microns.
