5245 is a two-component, aliphatic isocyanate‑cured acrylic polyurethane topcoat. This product features a high solids content and excellent weather resistance, with a tough, durable film that exhibits superior mechanical strength and outstanding chemical resistance.
 

Application areas
This product can be used as a topcoat in environments with moderate to severe atmospheric corrosion, where the coating is required to maintain gloss and color retention over time.

Solid content by volume: 65±2%
Mixing ratio: 10:1 (by volume) or 13.2:1 (by weight)
Recommended dry film thickness: 60 μm (corresponding to a wet film thickness of 92 μm)
Theoretical coverage (60 µm): 10.8 m²/L or 7.45 m²/kg
Specific gravity: 1.45 kg/L
Flash point: above 29°C
VOC content: 352 g/L
Shelf life (after mixing at 20°C): 2.5 hours
Fully cured (20°C): 7 days
 

Construction conditions

The substrate shall be clean and dry, and the application temperature must be at least 3°C above the dew point to prevent condensation.
The curing agent is sensitive to moisture; it is recommended to apply this product when the relative humidity is below 85%.
This product can be applied in environments as low as -10°C.
Ensure adequate ventilation during the drying process.
