Product Introduction
5250 is a two-component, recoatable polyurethane topcoat based on aliphatic isocyanates and hydroxyl-acrylic resins. It boasts excellent gloss, color retention, weather resistance, and durability. Its coating film exhibits superior toughness, adhesion, chemical resistance, and water resistance.
Application fields
It can be used as a high-performance topcoat for the steel structures or aluminum alloy surfaces of advanced products such as large vehicles, railway cars, locomotive heads, yachts, ships, docks, machine tools, instruments, and grain-processing machinery.

Applicable shelf life of the mixture: 6 hours (20℃)
Fully cured: 7 days (20℃)
Recommended dry film thickness: 40 μm (corresponding to WFT = 71 μm)
Required theoretical amount (40 μm): 14 m²/L or 11.2 m²/kg
Specific gravity: 1.25 kg/L
Flash point: 25℃
Construction conditions
The previous coat of paint must be dry.
Remove oil, dust, moisture, and other impurities from the previous paint film.
The substrate must be at least 3°C above the dew point. The relative humidity of the environment should be less than 75%.
It is recommended to apply paint at temperatures above 0°C. The painted surface must be clean and dry.
It is recommended to maintain strong ventilation during the painting and drying processes.

Coating methods: Airless spraying / Air spraying / Brush coating / Roller coating
Diluent: 110 Epoxy Diluent
Dilution: 0–5% by weight of the coating; the actual amount added can be adjusted according to the on-site application method.
