Construction conditions
New steel: blast-cleaned to Sa2.5 grade, or ground with an elastic abrasive wheel to St3 grade.
Steel coated with shop primer: Perform secondary rust removal at areas of coating damage and corrosion, grinding to St3 grade using an elastic abrasive wheel.
Welding, flame cutting, or thermal straightening of the heated area: grind to St3 grade using an elastic abrasive wheel.
The substrate temperature must be at least 3°C above the dew point, and the ambient relative humidity must be below 85%.
It is recommended to apply the product at temperatures above -10°C, and the application surface must be clean and dry.
During construction and the drying process, vigorous ventilation is recommended.
At higher temperatures, a suitable amount of thinner may be added to prevent dry spraying.
