Product Description
Product Introduction
High-chlorinated polyethylene is a highly chlorinated derivative of polyethylene, also known as HCPE resin. Because its molecular structure contains no double bonds and the chlorine atoms are randomly distributed, it exhibits excellent weather resistance, ozone resistance, thermal‑aging resistance, flame retardancy, chemical resistance, and oil resistance.
Scope of Application
HCPE-H (high viscosity) is primarily used as a PVC adhesive. HCPE-M (medium viscosity) is mainly employed in anti-corrosion and fire‑retardant coatings, serving as a substitute resin for chlorosulfonated polyethylene; it can also be used as a specialized resin for steel anti-corrosion coatings and exterior coatings for underground pipelines. HCPE-L (low viscosity), owing to its lower viscosity, is compatible with acrylic and alkyd resins, making it suitable as a specialized resin for anti-corrosion coatings, container coatings, road‑marking paints, and exterior coatings for underground pipelines.
