Product Description
Product Introduction
3170 is an alkyd paint formulated with long-oil alkyd resin, titanium dioxide and other pigments, driers, additives, and solvents. The resulting film exhibits excellent weather resistance and mechanical strength, as well as outstanding resistance to seawater impact.
Application areas
It is suitable for application as a topcoat on the above-water hull and superstructure of ships, as well as on land-based steel structures.

Appearance: Color adjustable, with a glossy finish.
Solid volume: 46±3%
Recommended dry film thickness: 35 μm (corresponding to a wet film thickness of 76 μm)
Theoretical coverage (40 µm): 13.14 m²/L or 11.8 m²/kg
Specific gravity: 1.1 kg/L
Flash point: above 35°C
Construction conditions
The primer coat should be completely dry.
Remove all oil, grease, and other contaminants from the surface of the paint film.
The substrate temperature must be at least 3°C above the dew point, and the ambient relative humidity must be below 85%.
It is recommended to apply the product at temperatures above -10°C, and the application surface must be clean and dry.
During construction and the drying process, vigorous ventilation is recommended.
