Product Description

Product Introduction

3017 is an amine‑adduct‑cured phenolic epoxy coating that exhibits excellent film adhesion, outstanding chemical resistance, and a broad service temperature range. The coating can withstand corrosive environments from ultra‑low temperatures of –196°C up to high temperatures of 210°C.

Application areas
It can be used as a chemical‑resistant lining coating, an anti‑corrosion coating beneath insulation or in non‑insulated areas, for corrosion protection in seawater or freshwater immersion environments, and for ultra‑low‑temperature corrosion resistance.

Construction conditions

New steel: blast-cleaned to Sa2.5 grade, with a surface roughness of Medium (G) (ISO 8503-2).
Maintenance: Remove grease and other contaminants with an appropriate cleaning agent; use high-pressure fresh water to rinse away salt and other residues; perform localized sandblasting or grinding as needed.
The substrate temperature must be at least 3°C above the dew point, and the ambient relative humidity must be below 85%.
It is recommended to apply the product at temperatures above 5°C, and the application surface must be clean and dry.
During construction and the drying/curing process, vigorous ventilation is recommended.
